Greet patients and check them in and out efficiently
Schedule hospital admissions, tests, scans and outside appointments for patients
Schedule patient’s appointment and move patients through appointments as scheduled
Quickly and efficiently address patient queries by relaying needed information to the patient, e.g. wait time, payment processes, test information, pre-investigation instructions etc. in a pleasant & professional manner in orderto enhance patient’s satisfaction and make them feel valued
Keeping patient appointments on schedule by informing appropriate clinical staff of patients’ arrival or reminding them of patient build-up and service delays
Issue receipts of payment to patients or their families for such payments
Scan documents, distribute forms and paperwork to patients and check them over to ensure that required fields are completed properly.
Answer phones promptly and professionally; direct calls to appropriate departments
Information collection and management, and monitor data efficiency
Addressing patients & visitors, in person or on telephone; answering or referring inquiries
Planning, organizing, and schedule tasks and activities
Responsible for insurance verifications with health insurance organizations
Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, & financial information
Mentor and coach new employees and to support the induction process
Other official duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND or OND qualification with at least 1 year work experience
