Responsibilities:
- As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships, market analysis, and client engagement.
- Your role will involve a combination of sales, relationship building, and market research.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential businessopportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes. Analyze market data to develop strategies for positioning our IT solutions effectively.
- Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online platforms. Cultivate and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives to tailor IT solutions that address their specific requirements.
- Solution Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to showcase our products and services to clients. Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of our IT solutions.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to create customized proposals and quotations based on client requirements. Ensure proposals are aligned with client expectations and company capabilities.
- Negotiations and Closing: Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients to secure new business opportunities. Work towards closing deals in a timely manner while maintaining a win-win approach.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system. Generate regular sales reports and provide insights to management.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market segments, industries, and geographies for business expansion. Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and establish a strong market presence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 5-7 years in business development, sales, or related roles within the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of IT products and services, with the ability to comprehend and
- communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence potential clients.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite.
