Responsibilities
- Screens potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities, recommending equity investments
- Supports the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the organization maximizes its short-, mediurn- and long-term profitability and stakeholders' returns
- Develop and lead the Business Development team in sourcing, managing, and implementing new business opportunities and expanding brand presence
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Preparing all documentation required for a business for proposals
Qualification and Requirements
- Minimum of First degree in relevant discipline and 10 years relevant work experience.
- Having experience in Federal Government Ministries is considered a valuable asset.
- Strong business acumen and presentation skills
- A good understanding of marketing principles
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Understanding multiple Nigeria languages will be an added advantage
