As a Front Desk Personnel, you will be the face of our company, responsible for creating a welcoming and professional first impression for our clients and visitors. Your primary duties will include:


We are looking to hire a Property Valuer with a background in law and working experience in the real estate industry for a client, a real estate company located in Victoria Island, Lagos. 


Responsibilities



  • Drive firm-wide strategies to attract new property valuation opportunities and ensure profitability.

  • Work with marketing and business development team, management, agency, property development teams to seek property valuation opportunities from individuals, government agencies (compensation valuation etc.), financial institutions, and other key markets/institutions. 

  • Take responsibility for bringing in valuation briefs from both existing clients (within the firm’s value chain) and from new and prospective clients.

  • Manage relationships with existing clients to ensure the company continues to exist on the valuation list of every retainership. 

  • Manage relationships with existing clients with a goal to converting them to clients within our other service lines (Property Management, Agency etc.)

  • Oversee all property valuation briefs from inspection to research to completion and submission of valuation reports and delivery of hard and soft copy reports to clients on a case-by-case basis in line with urgency.

  • Lead the acquisition and clarification of briefs with clients.

  • Lead team to research neighborhood, inspect and conduct site valuation.

  • Maintain a database of firm wide rental and sales values.

  • Lead the market analysis process, using up to 3 comparable data and a minimum of 2 or more valuation methods depending on the complexity or anticipated results.

  • Oversee the preparation of valuation reports with fee notes. 

  • Ensure timely ssubmission and acknowledgment of both hard and soft copy reports and follow up with internal team and client to ensure acknowledgement of receipt from clients.

  • Lead team to mark and delineate boundaries and reference points, consult historical maps, surveys, and legal documents relating to the property or section of land being measured.

  • Analyze data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs. 

  • Present data to clients and prepare reports detailing legal boundaries and other relevant information.

  • Collaborate and work with project managers, construction crews, government agencies and other stakeholders as necessary in delivering valuation brief. 

  • Ensure properties meet building regulations, accessibility, fire and health and safety standards.

  • Ensuree projects are completed to schedule.

  • Advice clients on planning applications, boundary disputes, right of way 

  • Deal with improvement or conservation grants

  • Prepare and present monthly progress reports to the Principal Partner


Requirements



  • BTech/ BSC in Estate Management or any related

  • Certification in Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuer is an added advantage.

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Surveyor in the real estate industry 


Salary: N130,000 – N150,000
