Principal Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for PSSP business by assisting the Head, CyberPay to execute the following across the vertical:
- Responsible for product management, and enhancements.
- Responsible for partnerships and product enhancements.
- Conducts periodic review of existing product documentation and ensure they align with new business objective or regulatory directives.
- Help to ensure that products/service functionalities are 100% in line with organizational objectives.
- Ensure transaction processing services offered to adhere to the appropriate regulatory standards, policies, and circulars.
- Prepares documentation for transaction processing service i.e. product papers, Standard Operating Manuals, Service Level agreements/business agreements.
- Prepare internal/external correspondences such as memos, letters, proposals, etc.
- Provide support for all other departmental activities/tasks as may be required by the Head, CyberPay.
- Responsible for driving the implementation of projects as it relates to the business.
- Responsible for the provision of reports/status updates of special projects on behalf of the business.
- Responsible for resolving all operational support issues on behalf of the business by liaising with internal service providers.
- Responsible for the provision of all industry analytics that may be required in the business e.g. (Board report, industry report/statistics) to aid decision-making as may be required (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually).
- Responsible for developing user requirements for new business initiatives.
- Target setting for the various teams in the group to achieve the departmental target.
- Identify and onboard key web merchants in the ecosystem to ensure all services are available to CyberPay merchants and customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for CyberPay and develop/upsell existing business to clients.
- Monitor and ensure assigned monthly income targets are met.
- Work with the technical team on the delivery of business-enabling projects.
- Strategic partnership in signing up billers.
Nature of Work
- Grow the products, partnerships, and gain market share.
- Improve the customer experience and user journey of the Payment Gateway Environment as well as the mobile app.
- Ensure prompt provision of reports (board reports, management reports, regulatory reports).
- Ensure prompt tracking and closure of all projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Knowledge & Experience
- First degree in Business Management/Economics/Finance or Technology. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Experience in a similar role (with at least 10 years) especially in the financial sector will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of the payment industry.
- Good knowledge of Sales/Business Development
- Having a good understanding of the operations of a Payment Gateway Environment.
- Good knowledge of VISA & Mastercard payment gateways.
