The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge and understanding of financial principles and practice and experience working with Peachtree accounting software managing financial records and inventory.
Responsibilities
Preparation and assistance in monthly management accounts, including completion of prepayments, accruals, fixed asset adjustments, and annual financial statements
Weekly collation of sales reports and monthly reconciliation
Completion of statutory filings and remittances to state government
Monitor and analyze spend on budgets, producing reports on a regular basis
Accounts Payable management, Sales ledger management, and general office administration
General day-to-day processing of financial activities
Key Requirements:
First degree in accounting or any related discipline
1-3 years of work experience in Retail or high inventory management business operation
Strong proficiency with Peachtree accounting software
Excellent technical, analytical, and reporting skills
Rigorous, methodical, and well organized with excellent attention to detail
Strong IT capabilities, detailed knowledge of the main Microsoft applications numeracy, and verbal skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst prioritizing effectively
