Job Description
Role Overview:
- The Head of Marketing and Communication is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving all marketing and communication strategies, initiatives, and activities within the organization.
- The role involves developing and executing comprehensive plans to enhance brand visibility, market share, and customer engagement.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement the overall marketing and communication strategy aligned with Termiis objectives and brand identity.
- Identify target audiences, market segments, and key messaging to effectively reach and engage customers.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, manage, and mentor the marketing and communication team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring team members are aligned with the strategic goals.
Brand Management:
- Maintain and enhance Termii's brand image and reputation in the market.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and marketing materials.
Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital, social media, traditional media, events, and more.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content strategy.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Public Relations and Communication:
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Approve media relations, press releases, and crisis communication to protect and enhance the company's reputation.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Use market insights to adapt strategies and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Use a data led approach in all research
Budget Management:
- Create and manage the marketing and communication budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in all marketing activities.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, product development, and customer support to align marketing efforts with broader business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience (at least 8+ years) in marketing and communication roles, with at least 3+ years in a leadership position.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of various marketing channels, including digital and traditional.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using analytics tools to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in crisis management and handling media relations is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance.
