Description 

• Our client needs a Tata Truck Supervisor to coordinate their company's shipping and transportation needs. The supervisor needs to be a stickler for safety. The candidate must ensure that all truck drivers under him follow instructions and that cargo reaches safe and sound destinations.

Job Description

• Supervise all truck drivers in presale and key accounts.


• Review drivers attendance and punctuality on a daily basis.


• Follow up with supervisors to ensure maintenance of vehicles.


• Report drivers and supervisory complaints.


• Enroll new drivers on pension and HMO.


• Organize training for drivers every quarters


• Rate drivers using key performance indicators.


• Participate in resolving accident issues especially, at the law enforcement station.


• Ensure implementation of day-to-day activities of transportation.


• Maintain and manage all databases relating to truck activities.


• Ensure compliance with safety standards in transportation functions.


• Build internal and external customer relationships.


• Manage, supervise and monitor fleet operations.


• Initiate cost-efficiency measures in truck operations.


• Implement environmental laws, procedures and processes.

Job Requirement

• HND or OND certificate with the ability to read and write.


• Ability to drive HOWO, SINO, and TATA trucks (preferably 6,8, and 10-gears.


• 5 - 10 years work experience.


• Be between the ages of 35 and 50.


• Must possess at least 5 years of driving experience with an FMCG company, preferably in Lagos.


• Class D or G driver's license.


• History of a good driving record.


• Understanding of Lagos route and its roads.


• Understanding of traffic rules and signs.


• Ability to drive long hours and sometimes at night.

Pay

N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
