The Chief Cashier is responsible for supervising and managing all cash-related activities within the organization. This includes overseeing cashiers, ensuring accurate cash handling, and maintaining of financial records.
Job Description
Cash Management:
Supervise and manage all cashiers, ensuring efficient cash handling and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Maintain a secure and organized cash office or vault.
Monitor cash levels and coordinate cash orders and deposits with the bank.
Transaction Oversight:
Oversee and verify all cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
Review cashiers' reports, cash registers, and point-of-sale (POS) systems for discrepancies and errors.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports related to cash transactions, reconciliation, and discrepancies.
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management and external audits.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service when addressing cash-related inquiries and concerns.
Handle escalated customer issues related to cash transactions.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 2 - 4 years work experience.
