Job Overview

• We are looking for a Cashier for our store in the Retail Industry. The cashier will scan the customer’s selections, ensure that prices and quantities are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers' products, promotions, or item location.

Job Description

• Manage payment transactions with customers using cash registers


• Scan product items and ensure pricing is accurate


• Receive and confirm payments or cash transaction


• Issue payment receipts for transactions made


• Process refunds when necessary for customer


• Redeem stamps and coupons


• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones


• Resolve complaints, and provide customers with relevant information


• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store


• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas


• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies


• Bag, box, or gift-wrap packages


• Ensure product items not scanned to be sold are properly shelved back.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND in relevant fields with 1 - 2 years work experience.
