Position Summary:



  • We are looking to hire a Talent Management Specialist to manage our talents outsourcing and placement, talent engagement, assisting in recruiting, learning and development, employee relations, and employee performance programs.

  • You will perform the basic administrative functions of the HR department, handling areas such as personnel management, and the maintenance of HR records.

  • The Talent Management Specialist Role is a key member of the HR/Talent Management department of our organization and will play an instrumental role in many of Semicolon’s business functions.

  • You will need entrepreneurship and excellent business acumen to succeed as our Talent management Specialist.


Main Duties And Responsibilities



  • Coordinating Semicolon’s talent placement programme which includes internship placement, full employment placement, and outsourcing programme.

  • Researching potential hiring partners, managing relationships and securing placement

  • Effectively monitor external correspondence (phone calls and emails and text messages) and help to ensure timely response to all inquiries and requests.

  • Coordinating recurring activities geared towards Semicolon talent management programme. E.g CV and LinkedIn optimization session, collation, and correction of native’s CVs, intentional engagement of natives.

  • Work closely with the business development team to close deals and partnerships Recruitment

  • Assist in the preparation of Job descriptions for open roles.

  • Build and maintain applicant pool and talent pipeline that can meet the company’s current and future hiring needs

  • Publish/Advertise open jobs on Semicolon’s recruitment platform (ENUM) and external recruitment platforms e.g LinkedIn, to source candidates for specific job positions

  • Assess candidate information and digital footprint in ensuring candidate is culture-fit

  • Support the hiring manager, and concerned team leads, in coordinating and scheduling appointments for interviews to fill vacant openings. Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Facilitate documentation process for new employees.

  • Manage the employee induction process.

  • Work tools Availability Process Management

  • Manage staff separation process for exiting employees. Employee Relations

  • Liaise with the concerned department in creating programs to support the well-being of the Semicolon community- organizing and participation

  • Liaising with team leads in maintaining, and monitoring attendance to ensure employee punctuality

  • Engaging Semicolon’s esteemed employees on a regular basis and getting their feedback in relation to all of our activities which includes training, health Insurance and other internal events that concern the members of staff; and reporting the same to the COO for prompt action.


Requirements Education,


Qualification & Experience



  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration, Marketing or a related field

  • 3-4 years of work experience as an HR professional, a member of a Talent Management unit, or in Recruitment

  • Background experience in Sales and Business development

  • Highly computer literate in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel)

  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting

  • Experience in Learning and Development, Gap assessment

  • Project management experience
