Job Description



The Head of Assets will play a vital role in ensuring that the Group's vision is realized by developing and implementing asset management strategies that will ensure the seamless flow of goods across the supply chain.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize the company's logistics and supply chain operations.

  • Ensure that assets are maintained in good condition to preserve their value and maximize their potential.

  • Develop and implement asset tracking and monitoring protocols to ensure the safety of assets and reduce the risk of loss or damage.

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and oversee the execution of maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure that assets operate at peak efficiency.

  • Develop and implement procedures for the disposal of assets that are no longer needed or have reached the end of their useful life.

  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of equipment, materials, and other assets.

  • Develop and implement procedures for the evaluation and selection of assets, taking into account factors such as performance, cost, and sustainability.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in asset management, logistics, or supply chain management.

  • Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.

  • Experience in developing and implementing asset management strategies and protocols.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience using asset management software and tools.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for the transportation and logistics industry.
