Design, Develop and modify the technical network solution while ensuring the integrity of service delivery
Create, modify, and maintain process engineering designs (work flows and documentation)
Manage VPN requests for existing and new customers ensuring timely delivery of hardware.
diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications and programs
Manage multiple, simultaneous customer projects of varying complexities while minimizing network impact during change/maintenance windows.
Identifies new service areas through field surveys and coordinates meetings with stakeholders, including developers and customers, to determine infrastructure requirements for services availability
Implement systems solutions sold to Customers to include systems repairs, expansions & upgrades
Technical advisor to commercial discussions such as proposed solutions sales & contract renewals and assist with promoting and implementing all systems revenue programs
Maintain and service repair needs on designated equipment/systems
Requirements
Candidates should possess a University Degree / HND
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in Network Implementation and Support Engineering
Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, CCNA) is Compulsory
Solid background in firewalls and security solutions, Fire power, Forescout, Fortigate, NGX, etc
Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
Core Competence:
Ability to convey network concepts and issues to both technical and non-technical audience
Knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools
Multicast Routing Networks
Experience of building and maintaining full range of both Cisco and Juniper devices, including Firewalls and perimeter security products
