A Tech based company located at Lekki is looking to fill a Senior Accountant position

Responsibilities

• Preparing accounts, filing tax returns, and ensuring that taxes are paid properly and on time.

• Monitoring income, spending, company’s financial status, and budgets

• Auditing and analyzing financial performance


• Financial forecasting and risk analysis, including analysing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.


• Advising on how to reduce costs, enhance revenue and increase profits.


• Compiling, presenting and maintaining financial reports, budgets and budgets’ performance, commentaries and financial statement.


• Compiling and analyzing business plans.


• Ensure that financial statements and records are accurate and comply with laws and regulations.


• Meeting and negotiating the terms of business deals and moves with clients and associated or partnering organizations.


• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.

Job qualification

• 5 years of hands-on experience within a structured organization. Experience in the Tech industry is a must


• Educational background in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field.


• Proven knowledge and expertise in financial reporting, internal auditing, financial analysis & management, financial software, statistical analysis & packages, and reconciliation


• A member of a professional body e.g. ACA, ACCA, CFA (Part or Fully Qualified).


• A good understanding of the market is paramount.


• Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.


• Knowledge of Accounting software and, MS Office


• Highly confidential with good integrity.
