Job Objective
- Responsible for communicating with potential customers through the telephone, in order to develop an effective pipeline of new business and achieve or exceed sales targets.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for attending to outbound sales enquiry calls and online sales chat with prospective customers.
- Aggressively make cold calls and sell to existing and prospective customers, the company service solutions, while achieving daily call targets.
- Processing online orders promptly, set reminders and follow up with generated leads to build relationship with prospective customers.
- Maintaining a good customer relationship with existing customers to enhance customer retainer-ship while managing churn customers to re-establish contact.
- Build and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
- Obtain new customers information, payment and process orders online promptly.
- Achieve and exceed sales target in the area of subscribers and revenue on a consistent basis while converting prospective clients into long term sales relationship and opportunities.
- Apply the ideal and professional phone etiquette.
- To carry out other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
- Knowledge, Skill and Competencies
- Pleasant and friendly mannerism.
- Basic computer knowledge- the person should be adept in using search tools, browser and also email features familiarity of CRM solution.
- Excellent listening and communicating skills (oral and written).
- Good negotiation and persuasive skills to aggressively cold call, follow-up and close sales.
- A proactive, self motivation individual with the ability to work independently yet a team player.
- Knowledge of windows based applications as well as various internet technologies.
- A fast learner with the ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
- Ability to adapt to change – meets the changing demand of the work environment.
- A sound knowledge of telephone etiquette.
Requirements
- The job holder must have a Bachelor's Degree (Second Class Upper) in Engineering, Computer Science or IT related discipline with a minimum of 10 years’ post qualification experience preferably in Enterprise Sales and within the Telecoms Industry.
- Possession of a Master's degree and experience in managing strategic business will be an added advantage.
