Job Description
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Oversee the posting of job ads on recruitment portals, shortlisting, and conducting assessment tests and interviews for candidates.
- Prepare and communicate offer letters to successful candidates.
- Ensure email creation and procurement of work tools/Identity cards for new hires.
- Conduct staff onboarding.
- Contact applicants’ references and conduct background checks on new staff.
- Confirmation of new hires upon successful completion of probation
- Maintain employee/operative information on the database by inputting and updating employment and status change data - online & offline.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to fill vacant positions.
- Conduct background checks and verify references.
- Facilitate new employee onboarding, including orientation and paperwork completion.
Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, maintaining a fair and positive work environment.
- Assist in conducting exit interviews and analyzing turnover data.
HR Policies and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Update HR policies and procedures as needed.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
HR Reporting and Analysis
- Generate HR reports on key metrics and analyze trends for management review.
- Utilize HRIS systems to maintain and manage employee data.
Employee Engagement
- Support employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
- Coordinate employee recognition programs.
Disciplinary & Consequence Management
- Conduct necessary investigations where disciplinary issues have been flagged against an erring staff.
- Attend disciplinary panels and take reports/minutes of such meetings.
- Draft and issue queries, warning letters, suspension letters, and termination letters, in applicable cases
Educational Qualification/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years experience as a Human Resource Generalist.
- Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, proactivity, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Excellent Google suit & Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
