JOB DESCRIPTION

IT Asset Configuration Management and Enterprise System Engineers is to oversee the daily and long-term management of software and hardware within the Organisation. It includes monitoring and recording of software and hardware licenses to ensure compliance with vendor contracts. Develop and implement  procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout the assets lifestyles. As system engineer, you are also responsible for the delivery of key customer installations and project including virtualization (server and storage), system configuration, regional supports, Microsoft server and exchange rollouts. Provide supervision and support for 2nd level support Engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• First degree field of study in Computer Engineering, Electrical or Ellectronics Engineering or any other IT related field.


• VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Excellent use of MS Office Suite.


• Minimum of 5 years in system support.


• Minimum of 3 years in Vendor Management.


• Minimum of 2 years in 2nd and 3rd level support.
