We are seeking a Franchise Business Development Manager to join our Yimei team in Ikeja, Nigeria. This is a full-time, hybrid role that will require some onsite work at our Ikeja location, but also allows for remote work.
The Franchise Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new franchise opportunities, building relationships with potential partners, and overseeing the franchise process to completion.
Additionally, the Franchise Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing existing franchise relationships and providing ongoing support to franchisees to maximize profitability.
Qualifications
B.Sc or MBA, degree holder
Track record of successfully closing franchise deals in the hospitality industry
3+ years of experience in developing and managing franchise businesses, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
Proven work experience in a business development role in either the hospitality industry or in an existing franchise brand
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
Experience in managing franchise relationships, providing support and resolving issues to ensure mutual benefits
Knowledge of franchise laws, regulations, and procedures in Nigeria and across Africa
Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and financial literacy
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Proactive, creative, and resourceful problem solver
Fluent in English and knowledge of other African languages is a plus.
