Job Summary



  • As a Fleet Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our transportation fleet's efficiency, safety, and reliability.

  • You will be responsible for overseeing a diverse fleet of vehicles and ensuring they are maintained, operated, and managed to the highest standards.

Key Result Areas (KRA)


The key result areas of this role are:


Transportation and Fleet Management:



  • Strategically plan and manage the logistics Department.

  • Analyze logistical problems and plan transportation routes for vehicles carrying goods or persons.

  • Coordinate drivers, vehicles, goods and journeys

  • Manage delivery and pick-up schedules efficiently and effectively.

  • Ability to manage delivery timings, quality, transport costs and stock level.

  • Planning for negotiating and managing technical difficulties.

  • Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.

  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met.

  • Supervise, coach and train workforce

  • Ensures vehicle is kept clean and in good running condition at all times through addressing minor repairs, planning for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tires, brakes, water levels and car washing.

  • Log official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, greasing, etc.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, checks oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc.,

  • Arranges for and ensures minor and major repairs are carried out timely.

  • Ensures availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle registration, vehicle logs, office directory, map of the city/country, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts in the assigned vehicle; keeps track of insurance and other tax formalities.


The Person



  • Minimum academic qualification of a B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply chain, Project Management or any related degree.

  • 2-5 years and above relevant work experience preferably in the health sector.

  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience as you may be required to drive.

  • Valid Driving License.

  • Strong leadership skills and team building

  • Excellent customers service skills.

  • Excellent communication and people management skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skill.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

  • The ability to think creatively

  • Salary in line with industry standard.
