We are seeking to fill the role of a Sales Officer for their Edo and Delta region. The Sales Officer position is crucial for driving sales and revenue growth in our organization.
This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong client relationships, as well as identifying and acquiring new customers in the dynamic field of plastics manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve or surpass sales targets.
Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing customers to maximize satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and remain updated on industry trends and market dynamics.
Proactively follow up on sales inquiries and leads, skillfully converting them into successful sales transactions.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve customer issues promptly.
Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales-related expenses.
Prepare and submit regular, accurate, and timely sales reports, forecasts, and budgets, while also staying updated on industry trends and compliance.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the plastics manufacturing industry, preferably in sales or distribution.
Exceptional communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Strong understanding of plastics manufacturing processes and products.
Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.
Proficiency in using CRM software and data analysis tools.
