Position Overview
As a Sales Development Officer, you will be at the forefront of our mission, playing a pivotal role in driving sales and revenue growth within our plastic recycling division.
You will have the opportunity to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, establish strong customer relationships, and promote our range of post-consumer goods made from recycled plastic materials.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
Generate high-quality leads through targeted prospecting efforts, including cold calling, email outreach, and social networking.
Qualify leads to ensure they align with our ideal customer profile and exhibit genuine interest in our recycled plastic products.
Develop and implement lead nurturing strategies to keep potential customers engaged and informed.
Manage the sales funnel meticulously, from initial contact to deal closure.
Prioritize leads based on their readiness to buy and allocate resources accordingly.
Effectively communicate the unique value propositions of our recycled plastic products to potential customers.
Tailor messages to address specific pain points and needs of each prospect.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in sales development, with a strong sales track record (3+ years).
Substantial experience in the plastic industry (2-3 years) with a solid understanding of plastic market dynamics.
Knowledge of the plastic recycling industry or related field is advantageous.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
