Job Description
Role Context
- Coordinates the production of engineering deliverables and provides progress reporting for a project in accordance with the project plan.
- Supports the management of the interfaces between engineering offices, engineering disciplines, project controls, procurement, and third-party contractors or suppliers.
- Project Engineers may be responsible for an area of a large project or an entire project.
Responsibilities
System Design and Architecture:
- Design, develop, and implement advanced ICT systems and network architectures.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements or upgrades to meet evolving business needs.
Network Management:
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and security and take proactive measures to ensure uptime and data integrity.
Server Administration:
- Administer and maintain servers, including operating system installations, patches, and upgrades.
- Optimize server performance and ensure high availability.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage complex ICT projects, including planning, resource allocation, and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and timelines.
Technical Support:
- Provide high-level technical support and guidance to junior ICT staff and end-users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues.
Vendor Management:
- Evaluate and select ICT vendors and suppliers for hardware, software, and services.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT project engineering.
- Strong expertise in telecommunications, security solutions, cybersecurity, and networking.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCNA, CISSP) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in project management software and tool

- Must have experience in designing, installing, and managing an on-premise network infrastructure including layer 2 and 3 switching and routing.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with network management tools and network troubleshooting utilities.
- Must demonstrate an in-depth understanding of data center network architectures, ICT disaster recovery strategies, and LAN / WLAN / WAN / Wi-Fi / MPLS / SD-Access networking technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
