Job Description
Our client is looking for an organized, computer literate storekeeper who will be primarily responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing supplies for daily operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate records of all food, beverage, and non-food items in stock.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality, including checking expiration dates and product condition.
- Ensure storage areas are clean and well-organized.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding orders, returns, and quality concerns.
- Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Handle hazardous materials and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
Salary: NGN70,000 (Monthly)
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of high school qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hospitality industry or similar field.
- Must be organized and punctual.
- Must be a computer literate.
- Well-presented and professional.
- Analytical thinking to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in inventory management and cost control.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
