Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus, following established routes and schedules.


• Ensure the safety of students while embarking and disembarking from the bus.


• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations


• Conduct bus inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.


• Maintain a clean and organized bus interior, including sweeping and sanitizing as needed.


• Report any mechanical issues or needed repairs promptly to the Transportation Manager.


• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff in a professional and courteous manner.


• Enforce student behavior and discipline policies while on the bus.


• Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the school district.


• Participate in emergency evacuation drills and procedures.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification.
