Market Penetration:



  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.

  • Monitor competitors and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Develop new business opportunities by generating Deposit Liabilities and Fund Mobilization within the MSME and retail market.


Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:



  • Lead efforts to acquire new clients and expand the customer base.


Negotiation and Deal Closing:



  • Lead negotiations with clients, partners, and stakeholders to secure favorable deals.

  • Ensure contracts are effectively managed and executed.

  • Identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with customers within the retail and MSME segment who need loans and advances to support their business.

  • Initiate the development, launching, and sales of new product offerings


Sales and Revenue Generation:



  • Set sales targets and lead the business team to achieve revenue goals.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize profitability.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting:



  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development efforts.

  • Prepare regular reports for Management on progress and achievements.


Team Leadership and Development:



  • Lead and manage the business development team, providing guidance and mentorship.

  • Conduct regular training and skill development programs for team members.


Compliance and Risk Management:



  • Ensure business development activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies.

  • Mitigate risks associated with business expansion and client relationships.


Networking and Industry Engagement:



  • Represent the institution at industry events, conferences, and seminars to enhance brand visibility.

  • Build a strong network of contacts within the financial industry.


Requirements



  • Candidates should possess an MBA qualification with 5 - 12 years work experience.
