Responsibilities

• Conducts regular risk assessments


• Manages and prepares all documentation related to risk assessments and reviews of standard operating procedures


• Develop risk management controls and systems


• Design processes to eliminate or mitigate potential risks


• Create contingency plans to manage crises


• Evaluate existing policies and procedures to find weaknesses


• Delivers regular risk analysis reports to Management complete with actionable plans for avoiding or preventing potential threats at all levels


• Evaluate employees’ risk awareness and train them when necessary


• Prepare risk registers


• Prepare risk reports for presentation to the Board


• Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance/ Economics or related discipline.


• 5 to 7 years experience 


• Work experience in Banking/Financial Services


• Knowledge of a variety of reporting procedures, regulations and laws.


• Effective communication and human relations skills
