Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll records.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, and monitor actual performance against budgeted figures.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate accounting of transactions.
Accounts Payable: Process invoices, track expenses, and manage payments to vendors and suppliers.
Accounts Receivable: Monitor and follow up on customer invoices and collections, ensuring timely payments.
Tax Compliance: Assist in tax preparation and compliance, including the filing of quarterly and annual tax returns.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.
Audit Support: Prepare documentation and assist in internal and external audits.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certification is a plus but not required.
