Duties and Responsibilities

• Full-stack and front-end developer


• Maintaining of existing PHP/Laravel application


• Building PHP modules that are efficient


• Writing modular codes that are secure


• Testing PHP modules, Version Control


• Implementing relevant security measures according to the required standard


• Using Laravel for designing and creating web apps


• Discussing the aims of the Existing Application/project with the rest of the team


• Debugging and troubleshooting issues


• Sharing ideas and working on completing Tasks with the front-end and back-end


• Working towards the smooth, effortless running of integrations and APIs


• Experience in integrating payment solutions (Flutterwave)


• Implementing client feedback to scale our existing Application


• Ensuring Our web apps are maintained


• Contributing to database maintenance


• Contributing to database design


• SQL knowledge and understanding of database design


• Knowledge of unit testing software


• Experience with query languages for NoSQL or SQL databases


• Knowledge of cloud servers, such as Digital Ocean, Git, and GitHub


• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development

Qualifications

• BS / MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or similar relevant field.


• Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for 3 years.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with the PHP scripting language


• Extensive experience with the PHP Framework “Laravel”


• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5.6 and above


• Expertise in HTML mark-up language & CSS


• Proficiency in the JavaScript programming language and jQuery


• Unit testing performance abilities


• Proficiency with API Integrations


• A complete portfolio that shows the applications you have worked on


• Sharp problem-solving abilities


• Critical thinking abilities and the ability to analyze problems and create solutions


• Knowledge and experience with MVC architecture.
