We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Assistant to join our team in Victoria Island, Lagos. The Procurement Assistant will provide crucial support in managing procurement processes efficiently, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Coordination: Assist in identifying, assessing, and maintaining relationships with local suppliers.
- Purchase Administration: Handle procurement documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Inventory Support: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring optimal supply.
- Cost Analysis: Support in analyzing pricing trends and gathering data for procurement decision-making.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with procurement team members to ensure products meet quality and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an OND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of local procurement regulations and practices.
- Residency Requirement: Candidates must reside in or around Victoria Island, Lagos, as the job is based there.
