A Relationship Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining connections with business clients to drive sales.
Their duties include meeting with clients in-person to dis- cuss new products or services, resolving client issues with their employer's products or services to preserve relationships and communicating with other departments about maximizing client experiences.
They are relied upon to find ways to outperform the competition and maintain the company's positive image.
To succeed in this role, one must be an excellent communicator, able to work with sales and marketing teams and build rapport with customers; must be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills and must be capable of main- taining strong relationships with the company's clients to boost brand and profits.
Requirements and Skills
Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
