Key Responsibilities:
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
- Assess supplier profiles and performance to ensure reliability.
- Prepare purchase orders and manage procurement documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs.
- Review and evaluate supply chain operations for improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- OND certification in a relevant field.
- Proximity to Victoria Island, Lagos, is essential.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices.
- Prior experience in procurement is a plus.
