Job Responsibilities



  • Job holder leads and drives timely delivery of QAQC services for the Project and additionally, Stakeholders ‘Engineering team as QA/QC Technical Advisor when so requested.

  • This role requires delivery of world class performance and leadership to the QA/QC functions along with supporting AGP Stakeholders to ensure engineering service competencies equal expectation and business challenge.

  • The role will act as Company Technical Authority for QA/QC to ensure design work by Contractors meets Company standards and relevant industry codes.

  • Job holder should be active in mentoring and developing Staff to obtain a sustainable and competitive advantage for Company.

  • Highly commendable core expertise and thorough competence in fabrication and erection of steel structures, supervision and coordination of activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of materials and structures, review of WPS matrix. Coating and painting.


Requirements



  • Added Advantage - Master’s Degree In Metallurgical And Material Engineering, Or Similar Fields

  • Suitably and appropriately experienced in EPCOM services for over sixteen (16) years, with relevant and cognate work competence

  • B. Eng - Mechanical Engineering Or Relevant Fields.

  • Certified International Welding Engineer (IWE)

  • Project Management Certification PMP N

  • one Destructive Testing, ASNT-NDT

  • Corrosion Control

  • NACE CERTIFIED CIP 1 & 2

  • ISPON Safety Certification Supervision And Leadership Level 2&3


Membership:



  • Council for regulation of engineering in Nigeria Registers (COREN)

  • Welding Institute UK

  • National Association of corrosion Engineers –NACE USA
