Role Description

• The eStream Networks Field Service Engineer (Jnr) position is a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos.


• The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining telecommunications equipment and systems.


• The Engineer must be able to troubleshoot a range of issues and, where necessary, interact with clients in a professional and confident manner.


• The Field Service Engineer (Jnr) must comply with safety regulations and ensure that procedures are followed, including keeping accurate records of maintenance work done using available tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, HND, or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Electrical/Electrical Engineering or a related field


• Proven experience in Field Service or a related area


• Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and systems


• Understanding of Network Topology, Protocol, and Architecture


• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams with user manuals and maintenance instructions


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions thoroughly.


• Certification Requirements: CWNA, eMPM Certification, Rigger Certificate, COMPTIA N+, HSE (1). Radio Link Planning/Standard, Troubleshooting approach/Best practice Survey & Installation, Radio Configuration, Knowledge on Network Operation SOP, Earthing.


• Effective communication (Oral and written), Time management, Documentation, Reporting, Analytical skills, Customer relationship management, and Logical reasoning.
