As the NDT Training Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Profitable utilization of JCI’s NDT Training School resources and devise strategy for optimum benefits to the company while maintaining its fame and brand identity.

You will:

• Review and ensure that all training courses provided to our customers meet various accreditation guidelines.


• Drive the training school to profitably utilize its NDT resources in support of OPITO, IRATA, NPORS, OGTAN, IOSH, LEEA, DROPS course bookings and other relevant accreditations while complying to standards.


• Promote regular booking of courses from different corporate bodies, individuals, NGOs, States, and Federal Government Assisted Projects.


• Confer with management and implement some undergraduates program for Nigerian youths.


• Plan and implement promotion of the courses and programs available in JC International through open seminars, presentations, and advertisement.


• Review the quality of training provided to our customers in line with the company’s Training Quality Management System (TQMS) manual.


• Work with our JC International Competency Development Manager to evaluate the instructors’ performance and effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement where required.


• Conduct surveys to identify training needs that will be mostly & frequently needed by customers.


• Review the company training materials, update the materials to meet the industry & regulatory standards, and endorse for use/printing.

Technical Leadership

• Perform the role of an NDT Level III Person in JC International Services.


• Lead and provide knowledge on NDT codes, specifications, evaluation, and interpretation of results.


• Oversee knowledge deployment in NDT testing such as complex joints such as TKY, Nodes and Lifting lugs.


• Lead method statements and risk Assessment meetings with clients.


• Coordinate the preparation and review of NDT Inspections reports, Inspections Studies, and methods statements.


• Oversee the maintenance and storage of NDT equipment.


• Conduct regular tool-box knowledge sessions for NDT technicians and marketing team.


• Ensure the maintenance and recording of NDT equipment log.

Business Development

• Drive market share of the NDT Training programs and the JCI’S Training Division at large.


• Deliver on sales targets of the NDT department.


• Understand and cascade to team members relevant NDT Trends.


• Lead and organise regular presentations to prospective clients on NDT service offerings.
