Job Summary



  • We are seeking a seasoned Head of Finance to lead and streamline the financial functions and strategies of our company.

  • This pivotal role demands an individual with a deep understanding of the facility management industry, paired with experience in overseeing comprehensive financial operations.

  • As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of advanced financial systems and processes, fostering profitability and sustainability within the organization.

  • Leveraging your exceptional leadership skills, you will manage and nurture a high-performing finance team, emphasizing operational excellence.


Responsibilities



  • Oversee the development and implementation of advanced financial systems and processes.

  • Work closely with the procurement team to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and fiscal responsibility.

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.

  • Develop robust financial policies and procedures that comply with industry standards and best practices.

  • Collaborate with the CEO to formulate strategies that enhance profitability without compromising service quality.

  • Oversee the preparation and management of the organization's annual budget, including monitoring performance against budget and recommending corrective actions as necessary.

  • Identify opportunities for financial optimization and cost savings through continuous monitoring and analysis of market trends and business operations.

  • Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process, ensuring the preparation of accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

  • Lead the implementation of sustainable practices within the organization, incorporating economic, social, and environmental considerations into financial strategies.

  • Manage and oversee investments and financial portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and risk tolerance.

  • Collaborate with the CEO in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives from a financial perspective.

  • Act as a key contact for financial stakeholders, including banks and financial institutions, to foster strong relationships and secure necessary financing for organizational initiatives.

  • Facilitate regular financial training and development programs for teams to enhance skills and maintain a high level of competency within the finance department.


Key Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required

  • Master's degree in Finance or MBA is a plus

  • Previous experience in the facility management industry is required.

  • Candidate should possess relevant professional accounting certifications such as ACA, ACCA.

  • Certification in Project Management is a plus

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive finance experience handling diverse functions.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to foster a high-performing and collaborative team.


Skills and Abilities:



  • Expertise in strategy, financial modeling, reporting, and forecasting.

  • Proficient in using finance software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Ability to collaborate and strategize at a senior level to develop and execute financial strategies and goals.

  • Solid experience in leading finance teams and managing finance projects.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with different departments and external agencies.

  • Proven ability in risk management, budgeting, finance analysis and operations, auditing, compliance.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax and compliance matters.
