 Roles and Responsibilities

 Your duties and responsibilities as a Nursery/Preschool teacher shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

Educate children about fundamental concepts, such as colors, letters, numbers, and shapes.

Encouraging social interactions between children and improving their self-esteem.

Engaging in creative methods of learning, such as arts and crafts, supervised play, and storytelling.

Ability to interpret Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum /Montessori

Instilling a sense of order and discipline in the classroom.

Monitoring free time on the playground.

Ensuring the classroom is a clean, safe, and organized environment.

Preparing for lessons by gathering materials and setting up workstations

Must be able to manage time in class and coordinate class activities.

Qualifications /Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this position MUST

• know Early Childhood


• know about Montessori


• have 2+ years teaching preschool classes


• be very familiar with Phonics and sound blends


• be experienced working with young children in a classroom setting.


• have the ability to communicate with young children at their level.


• be patient, compassionate attitude, with a friendly, energetic disposition.


• be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.


• have the Ability to serve as a positive role model


• (OND/HND/B.SC)


• Must reside in Ejibo and its environment.

Must be willing to start working with the said school by 19th of September, 2023

Salary

• 30,000 - 50,000 and other benefits.
