About the job

• We are looking to hire a Graphics Art Specialist whose function will span across the entire process of visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos.


• You’ll be tasked with developing the overall layout and production design for advertisements, reports and for social media posts and be the one to shape the visual aspects of our websites, mobile apps, fliers, brochures, product packaging, exhibitions and more.


• Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message.


• For this, you need to have a creative flair for food designs and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements


• Creating images and layouts by hand or using design software


• Testing graphics across various media


• Develop, support and promote company goals, including message development, social media content creation and media outreach 


• Produce valuable and engaging graphic content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups 


• Study design briefs and determine requirements


• Schedule projects and define budget constraints


• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval


• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software


• Coordinating with outside agencies, art printers and colleagues as necessary


• Ensure that all communications and marketing material aligns with brand standards. 


• Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos 


• Proficiency in design and publishing software 


• Create visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations to help deliver a message


• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary


• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Proven graphic designing experience


• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics


• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)


• A keen eye for aesthetics and details


• Able to create visual concepts, using computer software and/or by hand, 


• to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate audience


• Understanding of communications, public relations and marketing best practices


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to keep up with the latest design trends, technologies, and techniques


• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines


• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
