Job Summary
- The Equipment Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment within itspurview.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities.
- Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
- Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
- Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
- Scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure that equipment is in good working condition at all times
- Inspecting equipment to make sure that it meets safety regulations and standards of quality
- Ensuring that all equipment is stored properly in a secure location off site.
- Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment.
- Collaborates with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget.
- Business development (Bidding and closing new deals).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.
- Previous experience managing the company’s equipment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment.
- Ability to maintain basic records and warranties.
- Ability to understand written directions in manuals and on manufacturer websites.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.
