Job Summary



  • The Equipment Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment within itspurview.


Duties / Responsibilities



  • Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities.

  • Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.

  • Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.

  • Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.

  • Scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure that equipment is in good working condition at all times

  • Inspecting equipment to make sure that it meets safety regulations and standards of quality

  • Ensuring that all equipment is stored properly in a secure location off site.

  • Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment.

  • Collaborates with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget.

  • Business development (Bidding and closing new deals).

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Education and Experience



  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.

  • Previous experience managing the company’s equipment.


Required Skills/Abilities:



  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment.

  • Ability to maintain basic records and warranties.

  • Ability to understand written directions in manuals and on manufacturer websites.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.
