Strategic Management:
- Oversee the product’s division, poised at ensuring a seamless execution of product strategies, processes
- Lead the development of all commercial plans across the product division
- Manage the Strategic Partner’s (OEMs), and ensures that the OEM deliverables are met, while ensuring that the company takes part in all the marketing and promotional brand activities; in order to maintain and improve the status of the company with the OEMs sell out report
- Establish timelines and initiates business reviews with the product lead, to ensure plans are delivered on time and are consistent with overall company plans.
- Keeping quarterly track of rebate with the OEMs
- Support the attainment of Budget actualization by strategically stocking top key SKU’s to exceed previous months achievement.
Operations:
- Ensure that the various business Channels are operating optimally by continually evaluating their performance against target and communicating same appropriately.
- Review and approve procurement plans, alongside its financial obligations, conjunction with the CATMAN ensuring that it aligns with the set product plans and targets.
- Create New Markets and New Products that appeals to market demands.
- Lead all Category Managers and direct their daily activities.
Sales:
- Evaluate assigned category managers performance against sales target and ensure appropriate action is taken to improve performance across all business channels
- Monitor product behavior and movement patterns, and work with the category procurement and sales manager to ensure sellout and increase inventory turnover.
- Coordinate with inventory to clear and sales leads to clear up allinventory
- Analyze customer buying patterns to present and future trends and react swiftly to changes in market
Products:
- Responsible for the entire product cycle or the business from procurement to pricing and sales
- Review the performance of products in the inventory and respond to them accordingly on a daily basis.
- Ensure profitability of all product categories by meeting the required targets.
- Increase number of SKU’S
Procurement:
- Achieve perfect order rate
- On time delivery of products
- Protect products from damage
- Prepare accurate documentations
Inventory Management:
- Ensure inventory is properly managed and controlled to avoid product shortage and aged stock.
- Ensure Liquidation of Excess/Obsolete Stock inventory by collaborating with the Category managers to ensure push out of these products.
- Flag up products for sales or promotions to get old products across all categories out of shelf
- Ensure sellout of shelf items by constantly reviewing for possible sellout.
- Ensure optimal and prompt restocking of products in the categories at all times
3rd Party Affiliates:
- Ensure Market Place Engagement
- External Collaboration with all vendors
- Maintain Relationship with existing suppliers and source new suppliers for new products and promotions
Marketing:
- Secure support, marketing funds and rebates from vendors
- Collaborate with Marketing Lead, CATMAN other channels to ensure adequate commercial plannings.
Reporting:
- Daily and Weekly Operational and Performance Report
- Monthly Management Report to include; ROI and business profitability
- Suppliers report on outstanding balances accrued to suppliers
- Report category performance and Investment plan to ensure optimum product management.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees with relevant work experience.
