Support the design and development of new projects, across key programmes;
Participate in the development, operationalization and revision of project work-plans to ensure that activities are carried out as an when scheduled;
Assist the planning, organisation and coordination of project-specific capacity building events;
Participate in constituency interface activities such as data analysis, community engagement, advocacy visits and monitoring activities;
Prepare project management reports for portfolio reviews and evaluation;
Produce program activity and periodic reports, and produce project reports;
Carry out any other responsibilities as may be assigned
Required Degree Level
University degree (bachelor’s degree) in medical or health sciences, (Pharmacy) public policy, statistics, or related fields.
Required experience:
At least 12 months working experience in public health, with demonstrated experience in program management and an understanding of health systems strengthening. Experience working with FMOH/SMOH and NPHCDA/SPHCBs, and an understanding of how the public sector works, as well as the political environment in which health systems strengthening and health security programs are implemented.
Experience with capacity development activities and exercises related to data analysis and use, logistics and service delivery, policy development, and/or communications for development.
Diplomatic skills and experience interacting with staff of government ministries, departments and agencies, development partners, and civil society organizations is an advantage.
Experience working on donor-supported projects is desirable.
