The Site Engineer shall be responsible for managing different parts of construction projects, supervising crew members preparing estimates for time and material costs, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders. The job holder would be saddled with the responsibility of planning and overseeing the construction and rebuilding as well as the maintenance of ongoing projects


Job Responsibilities



  • Ensuring that all the work is carried out in accordance with specific regulatory standards by playing a quality assurance role and providing timely feedback

  • Reviewing of all construction drawings and preparing direct labor and material schedule.

  • Supervision of the laying and setting out of buildings.

  • Being responsible for the implementation of all building works on site.

  • Preparing of sketches as may be required by the team on site

  • Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.

  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.

  • Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.


Job Requirements



  • First degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.

  • Basic professional certifications which should include HSE

  • A minimum of 4 years of proven working experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer.

  • Experience in working to agreed targets within a commercial environment

  • Experience in providing high-level consultancy advice for high rise residential and commercial buildings
