Develop and deliver engaging PHE lessons that promote physical fitness, health, and well-being among students.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes teamwork, respect, and cooperation.
Develop and implement an age-appropriate PHE curriculum, incorporating a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate their growth and development.
Plan and organise PHE activities, including sports events, competitions, and recreational activities, both within the school and in collaboration with other educational institutions.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate PHE concepts into the broader school curriculum.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour.
Establish and maintain effective communication channels with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive educational environment.
Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in physical and health education, incorporating new techniques and resources into teaching practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field.
Proven experience as a PHE Teacher preferably in a Secondary School.
Comprehensive knowledge of physical fitness, health, and wellness principles.
Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for education and a genuine interest in promoting the well-being of students.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the overall educational goals of the institution.
