- The Developmental therapist/Behaviour Technician works directly under the Program Supervisor to implement plans that have been developed based on the child's specific needs.

- Have the ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols and written instructions.
- Maintain a professional appearance regarding clothing, grooming, hair, and make-up.
BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 22kg
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time while working with toddlers and preschoolers.
- Must be willing and able to utilise quick body movements as indicated in the Behaviour Intervention Plan when working with children with challenging behaviour.
- Must have the manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
- Must be physically present at the assigned job location, which may include home, school, and community placements.
- Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.
- Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic device, and paper means.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree with Second Class Upper.
EXPERIENCE:
- Required: None. On-site training and supervision are provided.
- Preferred: Experience working with children ages 0-8 providing 1:1 in-home or school setting; experience implementing the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis; Educational, Speech, or other Allied Health Services experience.
