Description 



  • Our client looking for a competitive and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to develop and execute sales and business strategies to increase the company sales and profits.

  • As the sales and business development manager, your responsibilities will include identifying company products and services that are underperforming, recommending improvements to current sales strategies, developing an in-depth knowledge of company offerings, pricing, and policies, and improving existing sales proposals.

  • You should also ensure that the company is able to achieve revenue targets and continually identify new sales opportunities through customer referrals.


Responsibilities



  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media

  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.

  • Analyzing current and past financial data and providing strategies to cut costs and increase revenue

  • Leading the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunities

  • Working with executives to implement marketing strategies and new opportunities

  • Encouraging new and existing clients by creating and improving proposals

  • Ensuring that the company meets revenue targets

  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections

  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

  • 5+ years of proven experience working as a sales and business development executive or similar role.

  • Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.

  • Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach


Background experience:



  • Digital Design, Media Sales, Business Development


Salary Range

N300,000 - N400,000 monthly plus commission.
