The client is a company focused on building charging infrastructure, raising awareness about electric vehicles, delivering immersive experiences, and engaging in manufacturing, with the aim of creating a sustainable future for Nigeria. The preferred candidate's duties and responsibilities will include:
- Drive our content strategy to lift engagement across our digital channels and brand touchpoints to educate and stimulate potential customers
- Convey complex ideas and topics simply and in an engaging way
- Create and manage social media content plans
- Compose and publish high-quality, content-rich blog posts, press releases, articles, and documents related to the businesses and services of the company
- Writing new SEO-friendly copy for pages on the website
- Develop and Implement Strategic content marketing campaign as approved by the company
- Develop, review, and edit content
- Optimizing current copy on the website (page titles, meta descriptions, h1s, alts, anchor text, etc.)
- Research relevant topics and highlight current trends
- Create original graphics and materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field
- 3-6 years of industry experience as a creative writer. Preferably working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- A working knowledge of SEO and how it applies to content marketing
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Creativity & resourcefulness.
