  • As Senior Manager, Quality Management, you will deliver quality network in the Fiber Operations and Rural Telephony entity.

  • This will entail developing a quality control framework, monitoring quality of materials to deployment as well as quality assurance.


Key Roles & Responsibilities



  • Responsible for quality delivery of Fiber Network and Rural Telephony network in GICL entity

  • Develop effective quality assurance processes and optimize same where and when required.

  • Lead quality audit implementation on all Fiber routes to meet GICL quality specifications and Industry best practices.

  • Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to identify, review and integrate their quality expectations into GICL quality management process and procedures.

  • Ensure project managers, deployment functional head and quality audit vendors adhere to GICL quality policy and processes.

  • Define quality specifications and acceptance test procedures (ATP) guiding pre and post deployment requirements to guaranteeing world class Quality Network.

  • Ensure timely submission, validation, and warehousing of Rural and Fiber Operations quality audit documents and checklists on centralized repository.

  • Investigate quality defects and ensure immediate resolutions of such.

  • Ensure effective management of quality Auditors by holding vendors accountable for delivering to agreed terms and obligations. Ensure all contractual responsivities and met.

  • Deliver periodic quality workshops for internal stakeholders and GICL vendors to close quality gaps and educate further on company’s quest for top notch quality delivery.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, define, monitor, and evaluate relevant quality risk events on new network initiatives and POCs.

  • Develop and integrate adequate quality checklists and controls into the quality management process.

  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Associate Director, Fiber Operations

Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, and/ or any other related discipline.

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, professional certification in Quality, and/ or MBA will be an added advantage

  • 12+ years relevant experience in the telecoms industry, preferably within an OEM/ Operator and infrastructure provider
