Role Description

• This is an on-site full-time role for a Storekeeper. The Storekeeper will be responsible for packing, warehouse control and management, unloading, and forklift operation. The Storekeeper will work to maximize customer satisfaction through the efficient and accurate handling of inventory and merchandise.


• The successful candidate will have great communications skills and a strong quantitative background, along with a proven track record of successfully handling inventories/warehouse.


• The ideal candidate should be a team player, enjoy working with a variety of people, and have knowledge of basic warehousing. We also value those who are ready to learn and adapt with a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage cycle count of product inventories on daily basis


• Check date sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal of product as needed.


• Ensuring restocking is done accordingly


• Ensuring the store and warehouse is kept clean and organized


• Ensuring safe keeping of raw materials and finished products


• Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories


• Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity


• Checking of inventory records for accuracy


• Perform periodic stock taking and ensure all inventory is accounted for and accurately reported according to the company policy


• All other duties as may be assigned

• Knowledge of basic computer applications and data entry

• Minimum of OND from a reputable Polytechnic.
