Job Description

• Previous experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry as an HSE Manager in an Exploration & Production company with FPSO experience


• A strong lead HSE professional with broad expertise and experience to organize and implement a sound, integrated HSE support structure.


• Demonstrates understanding of HSE management systems and processes in upstream oil and gas company


• Competence to Develop and implement a robust and comprehensive HSSE Management System and support performance standard to meet the industry’s requirements and standards


• Must be HSE proactive Manager


• Develop HSSE risk register; to address, identify and manage HSSE hazards in start-up operations, design, construction, inspections and maintenance of new, existing and modified facilities


• Develop emergency response procedures which will provide effective plans to deal/handle all foreseeable emergencies as well as train and retrain employees on HSE awareness on monthly basis.


• Good knowledge of Occupational Health


• Implement HSE action plan identified in cause of the operations


• Comprehensive HSE experience and understanding.


• Strong understanding of HSE risks and mitigating controls.


• High standard of performance and proactive nature


• Dealing with government and regulatory agencies


• Able to coach and mentor direct reports


• Good Communication and Presentation skills


• Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision


• Good written and spoken English


• Good IT skills

Qualifications and requirements

• University Degree in Sciences or similar studies.


• Certificate in Health and Safety.


• Over 10 years of experience in petroleum/oil & gas industry, preferably with FPSO background.
