Job Description
- A Lifeguard with Transcorp Hilton Abuja is responsible for maintaining the safety of our guests in and around the pool. Maintaining safety and cleanliness and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
- Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
- Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service
- Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
- Prepare and maintains appropriate activity reports
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Supervise the use of other equipment when allocated to that duty such as water slides
Requirements
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Minimum of an HND / B.Sc. in related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a lifeguard in hospitality industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Experience in a resort or wellness related field preferred.
