About The Position

• Supervise the Transformer's major overhaul and or repair activities.


• Assist in Transformer oil test procedures, Analyze the oil test results, and recommend the corrections required.


• Supervise the Transformer oil filtration activities.


• Supervise the testing of Transformer inbuilt protections.


• Propose the modifications required for safe and reliable operation of the Transformers.


• The specialist shall provide SOW and a Bill of materials required to execute the modification. Upon COMPANY approval, the Specialist shall supervise the execution of modifications.


• Execute the modifications required in the Transformers. Upon COMPANY approval test the modification for successful implementation and provide a report on the modifications executed. 

Requirements

• Bachelors in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control System Engineering.


• Minimum 10 Years of experience in the Installation, troubleshooting, repair, modification, configuration/setting change, testing, commissioning, and startup of MV, LV Transformers


• Must have knowledge of PROLEC Transformers


• Good interpersonal skills and exposure/experience to Offshore platforms.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Willing to work on short-term (2 weeks) - medium-term (6 months) commissioning/services
